if you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, which platform you’re interested in, the fact that you consented and the time of signup. we use that information only for launch news and occasional product updates. this website does not accept journal recordings or entries.
how the waitlist is stored
waitlist contacts are stored with resend, our email infrastructure provider. the secret needed to add contacts stays on the server and is never shipped to your browser. you may unsubscribe from any email or ask us to delete your waitlist record.
website analytics
we use google analytics and cloudflare web analytics to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages, and roughly where from. we do not use advertising trackers, and these tools are configured to avoid collecting information that identifies you personally. see "your choices" below for opting out.
about the android app
archive’s android app is designed to keep journal entries and history on your device by default. an optional google drive backup lets you back up your journal to your own drive account, in a private, app-only folder — google never sees the contents, and no one else can access that folder. transcription necessarily sends audio to a processing service when you request it. the final in-app privacy notice names the provider, explains retention precisely and describes every control before public release.
about the ios app
an ios version of archive is planned but has not begun development. this notice will be updated with ios-specific details before any ios beta or release.

you can ask what waitlist information we hold, opt out of analytics, or ask us to delete your waitlist record by emailing ironhulk1090@gmail.com. we will update this notice when the website or app begins collecting information in a new way.
